With her background of over 30 years of working with the human body as a
professional ballet dancer, Pilates Instructor and massage therapist, Melinda has a
strong first-hand understanding of how the body moves. Melinda has a strong interest
in treating babies and children, and is constantly learning and updating her skills in
paediatric and cranial osteopathy.
Melinda has taught paediatric osteopathy, and indirect technique including cranial
osteopathy at Southern Cross University and was responsible for writing the unit on
these techniques. She also runs paediatric osteopathy mentor programs for early
career osteopaths.
Melinda holds a Master of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences
from Southern Cross University.
She is primarily interested in assisting infants and children and their families to adapt
to the constantly changing dynamics that arise from birth onwards. She also has a

special interest in infant and child oral function, orofacial growth and development
with the aim of assisting each child to grow to the best of their potential.
