We offer holistic maternity care, that is women centred and supports natural, physiological birth. means calm, safe uninterrupted natural birth rhythms. We do not offer epidurals, induction of labour or elective caesarean birth.
We have created a place to birth for families seeking a supportive, nurturing birth environment with the continuity of care by a private midwife. Surrounding you is a trusted team of professionals here to support your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.

Matrescence is the unfolding of motherhood, a profound transformation that goes far beyond the physical. Like adolescence, it’s a season of transition, growth, and redefinition.

At Matrescence Birthing Centres Gold Coast, we honour the unfolding journey into motherhood through personalised, holistic maternity care that supports the body, the mind, and the mother. Matrescence Birthing Centres

We offer a model of maternity care that’s supported by a collaborative care team and centred around continuity of care by a endorsed midwife. Matrescence Birthing Centres Gold Coast is Queensland’s only licensed, private, midwifery-led birth centre offering Level 2 hospital maternity care.
Through our co-admission model, your midwife leads your care, with medical oversight provided by our collaborating GPs and obstetricians.

Our birthing sanctuary is designed to be calm, sensory, and supportive from your first appointment through to six weeks postpartum and beyond. We believe in natural physiological births - no theatre, no epidural, no unnecessary interventions - allowing your body to do what it was designed to do.
