Your Origins & Physiology for Connecting Within: Navigating Pregnancy, Birth & Postpartum

Introducing a unique, three-part Pregnancy, Birth & Postpartum Program designed to prepare you deeply for the profound transitions and phases of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Led by Dr. Naomi, this series beautifully bridges clinical excellence with traditional wisdom, offering you the essential education, skills, and tools to navigate your journey with confidence and connection.

Program Details

  • When: Wednesdays from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM (August 5th, 12th, & 19th)
  • Where: Upstairs Education Room, Matresence Birthing Center – Gold Coast
  • Format: A 3-session series over 3 consecutive weeks 

Weekly Class Schedule

  • Session 1 (August 5th) | Pregnancy Class: Thriving from Seed to Full Bloom
    • Focus: Exploring the phases and stages that support each trimester of your pregnancy.
  • Session 2 (August 12th) | Birth Class: Finding the Flow Within
    • Focus: Understanding and experiencing birth as a movement.
  • Session 3 (August 19th) | Postpartum Class: Creating your Yin Sanctuary
    • Focus: Planning for a traditional, slow, and deeply restorative postpartum period.

What to Expect

This program seamlessly integrates deep ancestral rhythms and traditional cultural knowledge with modern physiological insights. You will gain practical skills incorporating breathing, movement, and sound, informed by Traditional Women’s Medicines, Spinning Babies, and Embodybirth & Belly Dance for Birth principles.  Naomi is an authority specifically in the field of Postpartum and seeks to inform Women on the biological needs of Postpartum Recovery.

This class series is intentionally designed for those seeking to connect:

  • Connect with Women’s Health Knowledge to feel informed and resourced.
  • Connect to the rhythms within that course through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum for each individual leading to a stronger sense of intuition, alignment and confidence.
  • Connect to your unique ancestry, exploring the significance of personal and cultural meaning,  integration required for navigating the journey into motherhood.

A Note on Inclusivity: These classes are warmly available to all individuals, regardless of birth preferences, plans, mode of conception, gender identity, health, abilities, or cultural and religious backgrounds. You are welcome to join at any point in your pregnancy (preconception is also welcome).

Designed as a standalone program or the perfect companion to other birth education classes.

Meet Your Educator: Dr. Naomi

Dr. Naomi is highly regarded for her unique capacity to translate complex physiology and holistic Mother & Baby health into deeply personal, practical knowledge tailored to your unique circumstances.

In her work as an Integrative Clinical Nurse Consultant & Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor, bringing extensive experience, clinical and leadership experience across hospital, community, and international settings Naomi has worked with thousands of Mothers and families.

  • Spinning Babies Aware Practitioner and Pelvic Care

How to Join

Spaces are limited to ensure an intimate, connective environment. maximum 8 couples

Private Classes: If you are unable to attend the group session times, or have a history of trauma, loss, or other special circumstances and feel more comfortable 1:1, private classes are available upon request.
